Perspectives on live events, ticketing technology, and building a platform that works for the people running shows.
When demand spikes, most platforms collapse. StampedeTix built a virtual waiting room that holds each buyer's place, manages demand in real time, and releases fans into checkout in an orderly sequence.
After producing live events since 1991 and watching ticketing platforms fail under real event pressure, Phillip Dane decided to build the platform independent producers actually needed.
Independent producers have long been stuck between stadium-scale agencies and basic self-service tools. StampedeTix was built for serious mid-scale events that need reliable infrastructure, transparent pricing, and real support.
When an event is free, listing and registration should be free too. StampedeTix provides ticketing, attendee lists, QR check-in, capacity tracking, and producer tools without adding a service charge to free events.
